The Malayan Racing Association (MRA), an organisation which regulates horse racing in Malaysia and Singapore invites applications from suitably qualified Malaysian citizens for the position of:


     The position demands a mature person of strong character with high integrity. Successful applicant will be involved in enforcing the MRA Rules and Regulations of racing.

     Applicants should be aged between 25 to 35 years old, have excellent communication in both written and spoken English.  Preference would be given to applicants with a Degree in Law.


     The successful applicant will join a Panel of Handicappers who frame handicaps and allot weights for horses participating in races in Malaysia.  The Panel of Handicappers is also responsible for the classification of horses, their promotions and demotions and selecting the horses for Feature races in the MRA circuit.

     Applicants should possess formal or professional qualifications and be below 35 years of age.  Knowledge of horse racing will be an added advantage.


The successful candidate is required to work on weekends and travel within Malaysia.  On the job training will be provided into all aspects of horseracing control and the candidate may be posted at any of the associated Turf Clubs in Perak, Penang or Selangor.
