[COV-19] Covid Announcement

On behalf of the Committee of Penang Turf Club, we wish to inform that there was a positive Covid case at the Club. The person concerned had been in self-isolation since Thursday, 13 May 2021.

The Club on informed of the positive has taken immediate action to withdraw all the runners of the stable at the Penang On-Course meeting on Saturday, 15 May 2021 as well as isolate all his stable staff.

A full and thorough sanitization was immediately carried out at the affected stable, as per MOH guidelines. All parties present at the races today were duly informed to take the necessary precautions.
