RACE 1 (R618) CLASS 5 (A) – 1400M
CAPE LINCOLN (S Anandan) and SUNNY STAR (S Saddam) bumped on jumping.
Passing the 700M-mark, EL PRIMERO (HS Gill) had to steady when GURNEY DRIVE (KP Lim) rolled in, resulting in MERRY BELL (App SN Shiva) which was following, having to steady outwards.
Passing the 100M-mark, JET BLACK (App A Azizi) laid in away from the whip, carrying CAPE LINCOLN inwards.
Over the concluding stages, the whip use of Jockey KP Lim (GURNEY DRIVE) was restricted when racing tight with MERRY BELL.
The saddle on RAISE ME UP (TK Barnabas) slipped back during the running.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that CAPE LINCOLN returned having cast its near fore plate.
Post-race veterinary examinations of EL PRIMERO and BRING T WIN (App Z Syafifie) revealed no obvious abnormality.

LEGACY ROAR (App Z Syafifie) jumped awkwardly.
DISCRETELY RED (S Saddam) and RULE THE WORLD (HS Gill) bumped on jumping.
MAGIC CITY (S Anandan) trailed the field badly. A post-race veterinary examination of MAGIC CITY revealed that the gelding returned lame off hind and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that GENERAL NIX (App A Azizi) bled and will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
