RACE 1 (R937) CLASS 4(A) – 1700M

The Stewards permitted Jockey J Low to replace Jockey AK Lim as the rider of D’GREAT MAGIC.

MASTER JIANGMEN (I Amirul) was slow into stride.

MR DUJARDIN (AM Aizat) faltered at approximately the 350M mark.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that both STAR INVINCIBLE (App I Firdzriel) and MR DAVID  (App P Haris) returned, having cast their near fore plate.

RACE 2 (R938) CLASS  5(A)  – 1600M     

MONACO ACE, a course scratching as it had sustained cellulitis near fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

 JEFFREY (App R Narendran) threw its head up on jumping.

At approximately the 900M mark, JEFFREY rolled outwards, inconveniencing ALWRICH (HK Cheng) onto YULONG DREAM (J Low).  Shortly thereafter, ALWRICH rolled outwards, brushing SECOND CHANCE (S Saddam).

ALWRICH entered the home straight wide.  Jockey HK Cheng, the rider of ALWRICH,   dropped his whip at the 200M.

Jockey HS Gill, the rider of SONNY BILL, reported that his mount was not striding out freely.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding returned with epiglottis entrapment and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet)  before being declared to race again.

A post-race veterinary examination of FIRST SUCCESS (App P Haris) revealed that the gelding returned having cast its near fore plate.  FIRST SUCCESS which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that SECOND CHANCE returned with a cut in both fore legs and YULONG DREAM returned with a speedy cut in the near hind.

RACE 3 (R939) 4YO SPECIAL (SW)  – 1400M

                            RIDERS ALLOWANCES NOT PERMITTED               

 CENTURY SPEED (HS Gill) and GURNEY DRIVE (J Low) were both slow into stride.

Jockey S Saddam, the rider of TILSWORTH SYDNEY, was warned against the practice of using his whip when his mount is clearly beaten.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that JOJU (L De Souza) returned having cast its near fore plate.

A post-race veterinary examination of TILSWORTH SYDNEY revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 4 (R940) RAPID STAKES A (SW) – 1300M

                               ONLY APPRENTICE ALLOWANCE PERMITTED    

HELIOSPHERE, a course scratching as it had sustained cellulitis near fore cannon, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

SACRED TONIC (AM Aizat) jumped awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, COME ON JENNY (S Ruzaini) and XENA (App I Firdzriel) came together.

Passing the 1000M mark, MOONGATE LIGHT (App WW Cheah) shifted inwards, making contact with WHY NOT (J Low). 

At approximately the 800M mark, SACRED TONIC steadied off the heels of MAGNOLIA BLVD (App A Azizi) and thereafter made contact with ROYAL RULER (App AR Aiman) which rolled outwards.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry into an incident at about the 1000M to the 800M, App WW Cheah, the rider of MOONGATE LIGHT, in the presence of his Employing Master, Trainer R Lines, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that passing the 1000M mark, he shifted MOONGATE LIGHT inwards, causing interference to WHY NOT.  App WW Cheah was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) race days with effect from Monday, 22^nd November 2021 and to expire on Sunday, 28^th November 2021, both days inclusive.  He was advised of his Right of Appeal (2.50pm).

RACE 5 (R941) CLASS 4(A) – 1300M

SACRED SURFER, a course scratching as it had sustained cellulitis both hind legs, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

IAMBUTTER and PULAU PINANG which were up 25kgs and down 17kgs in body weight respectively since their last run, were  checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.

The Stewards permitted Jockey J Low to replace Jockey AK Lim as the rider of CITY OF DREAM.

ALCATRAZ (S Salee) was slow into stride.

At approximately the 1100M mark, ACE’S WILD (CK Khaw) which was pulling hard was tightened between ALCATRAZ and ON THE RAZZ (R Rueven) and was inconvenienced.

IAMBUTTER (S Ruzaini) was obliged to race wide on the turn and was hanging inwards in the straight.

Jockey HS Gill, the rider of YOGI, reported that his mount was making respiratory noises.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed that YOGI returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

A post-race veterinary examination of RAGNAR (App I Firdzriel) revealed no obvious abnormality.  ALCATRAZ and ACE’S WILD both returned having cast their off fore plate.

IAMBUTTER which raced poorly will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 6 (R942) CLASS 4(B)  – 1300M

Emergency acceptor, NO REGRETS was withdrawn due to a capacity field.                     

DIAMOND RUSH which was down 47kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

The Stewards permitted Jockey S Salee to replace Jockey AK Lim as the rider of SACRED GALAXY.

App AR Aiman replaced App A Ahmad as the rider of ELUSIVE EMPEROR by order of the Stewards.

MISS MICHELLE (App P Haris) jumped awkwardly.

App YY Oon, the rider of MOONSHINE MISTRESS, reported that his mount was not striding out freely.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed that MOONSHINE MISTRESS returned lame off fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that MISS MICHELLE returned, having cast its near hind plate.

RACE 7 (R943) CLASS 5(A) – 1200M

SILENT BOSS, a course scratching as it was bruised near hind fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

The Stewards permitted Jockey F Yap to replace Jockey AK Lim as the rider of SECKILL. 

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal TWILL GUY at 4.01 pm acting on veterinary advice that the gelding was fractious in the saddling stable and sustained a cut in the near hind leg.  TWILL GUY will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

COME ON JIMMY (App P Haris) jumped awkwardly.

SECKILL (F Yap) and COME ON JIMMY brushed shortly at the start. 

COME ON JIMMY rolled out at approximately the 200M mark, making contact with DROUGHT (App A Nazir).

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that D’GREAT CHANCE (AM Aizat) returned having cast its near hind plate.

A post-race veterinary examination of COME ON JIMMY revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 8 (R944) CLASS 5(A) – 1200M

LEESTOWN EXPRESS and MAJULAH, both course scratching as they had a small cut at the left cheek and a sore back respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

SUNNY FIGHTER and MR SHORTIE’S which were down 15kgs and up 15kgs in body weight respectively since their  last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.

The Stewards permitted Jockey HS Gill to replace Jockey AK Lim as the rider of WELL DESERVED.

App I Firdzriel replaced App Z Ahmad as the rider of ZILFIKAR by order of the Stewards.

The Stewards permitted Jockey R Rueven to replace App P Haris as the rider of  PERFECT KIARA when the latter was stood down by the Club Medical Officer and there was no other suitable apprentice jockey available.

 Approaching the 1000M mark, JULIUS CAESAR (App YY Oon) had to check when CASTLE CHOICE (App A Najib) shifted inwards.  At a subsequent Inquiry, App A Najib, in the presence of his Employing Master, Trainer F Maynard, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii).  App A Najib was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) race days with effect from Monday, 22nd November 2021 and to expire on Sunday, 28th November 2021, both days inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (5.20pm).

Approaching the 200M mark, MR SHORTIE’S (App A Azizi) shifted outwards, carrying SUNNY FIGHTER (S Saddam)  outwards onto ZILFIKAR (App I Firdzriel), resulting in CITY KNIGHT (HK Cheng) becoming crowded and having to check.  At a subsequent Inquiry, App A Azizi,  in the presence of his Acting Trainer, HS Lim,  pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii).  He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) race days with effect from Monday, 22nd November 2021 and to expire on Sunday, 28th November 2021, both days inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (5.30pm).
