LOYALTY’S ANGEL, a course scratching as it had skin allergy, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

Acting on veterinary advice that HOSTWIN QUEEN (I Amirul) was fractious and was unable to provide the pre-race blood sample, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of HOSTWIN QUEEN at 12.38pm under MRA Rule 134(2)(a)(ii).

The Stewards permitted App YY Oon to replace App A Najib on MA BAO BAO as the latter was certified unwell.

MARCO POLO which was down 21kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

NEVERUNCONDITIONAL (F YAP) was fractious in the barrier, jumped away awkwardly, resulting in Jockey F Yap dropping his near side rein.

L’KEN (AM Aizat) was slow to begin.

WEST NORTH HILL (App CC Foo) was slow into stride.

NEVERUNCONDITIONAL raced wide from the 700M until entering the straight.

A post-race veterinary examination of NEVERUNCONDITIONAL revealed no obvious abnormality.

DAWNBREAKER which was down 17kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

The Stewards permitted Jockey S Ruzaini to replace App P Mogun on BEST BAY due to a misunderstanding at Declaration.

DAWNBREAKER (App I Firdzriel) and HANDSOME BAB (SS Vanan) were both slow to begin and showed no early pace.

Jockey S Ruzaini, the rider of BEST BAY, reported that his mount was not striding out freely.  A post-race veterinary examination of the mare revealed no obvious abnormality.

Emergency acceptor, GOLDEN COIN was withdrawn due to a capacity field.

POLO TYCOON which was down 20kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

VENUS DE MILO (S Salee) and HOSTWIN CHEVALIER (I Amirul) were both slow to begin.

GOLDEN SHOW (S Ruzaini) checked shortly after the start to avoid the heels of EXCALIBUR (App A Nazir).

RAISE ME UP (App YY Oon) laid out racing to the 800M, resulting in POWER EXPRESS (AM Aizat) being steadied and shifting out, resulting in EXCALIBUR having to steady to avoid the heels of QUASAR (App S Saran) which rolled  in.

MR RIGHT (App A Azizi) raced wide from the 800M until entering the straight.

RAISE ME UP laid out over the final 100M, taking SUPREME SASSO (App R Ruwaidy) wider out.

App I Firdzriel, the rider of PENNSYLVANIA and Jockey S Salee, the rider of VENUS DE MILO both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely.  Post-race veterinary examinations of PENNSYLVANIA and VENUS DE MILO revealed no obvious abnormality.

A post-race veterinary examination of POWER EXPRESS revealed no obvious abnormality.

The Stewards permitted App S Hafis to replace App A Saran on HANDY BET due to a misunderstanding at Declaration.

JEFFREY which was up 17kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

Acting on veterinary advice that DREAMS CAN BE REAL (F Yap) kicked the stable wall at the saddling ring and sustained a sore near hind foot, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of  DREAMS CAN BE REAL at 3.37pm.  The gelding will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

Acting on the Official Starter’s report that RED EASTERN (App R Ruwaidy) was difficult and could not be boxed, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of RED EASTER  at 4.00 pm. RED  EASTERN will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.

Trainer HS Lim was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for presenting  JEFFREY (K Eirwan) with blinkers which was not a declared gear and it was removed by order of the Stewards behind the barrier.

JACKS SECRET (S Saddam) was slow to begin.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that MR WOLFF (Z Khairil) bled and will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.

A post-race veterinary examination of JACKS SECRET revealed that the gelding returned having cast its near fore plate and exhibiting signs of respiratory distress.  JACKS SECRET will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

BALL AND CHAIN which was down 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

VIJETA (App A Saran) jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin.

SHADOW SPEED (App P Haris) was slow to begin.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that YOGI (App A Azizi) bled and will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.

A post-race veterinary of FANTASTIC ECLIPSE (App I Firdzriel) revealed no obvious abnormality.  SHADOW SPEED returned having cast its near fore plate.

Emergency acceptors, YES BOSSY, D’GREAT CHANCE and STARDICE were all withdrawn due to a capacity field.

PURE SPARK which was up 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

LUKE MAN (S Salee) jumped away awkwardly.

SUNNY STAR (S Saddam) was slow to begin.

LADY LAKSHMI (App P Mogun) and FLYING EBONY (Z Khairil) were both slow into stride.

Post-race veterinary examinations of SUNNY STAR, GUNFORHIRE (App I Firdzriel), FLYING EBONY and CALVADOS (App AR Aiman) revealed no obvious abnormality except that SUNNY STAR returned having cast its near fore plate. 

The Stewards questioned Trainer B Ng into the poor performance of SUNNY STAR today.  He was unable to offer any tangible explanation for the gelding’s poor performance and he was advised to report to the Stewards should he find anything amiss with the gelding during the week.

MAZANZE (App S Rosmizan) was slow into stride.

A post-race veterinary examination of PURPLE RAIN LADY (S Saddam) revealed no obvious abnormality.
